Tresna Art is a center for batik and souvenirs typical of Madura which is located in the city of Bangkalan. This unique Madurese joglo architectural building has an exclusive, hidden, but easy to find nuance, which is an information center for Madurese culture. By coming to Tresna Art, tourists don’t need to go around Madura Island to get handmade batik and Madurese souvenirs. Tresna Art provides quality batik from all districts in Madura at affordable prices. Madurese crafts are also provided, such as whips, odheng, wall decorations, karduluk carvings (sumenep) and various other crafts. Besides that, it also provides typical Madurese snacks such as: lorjuk beans, otok, chicken chips, taro, cassava, chips, rengginang lorjuk, satru, jhuko’ kerreng, eggplant rung, petis. And of course culinary variety such as soto corn, topa ‘ladeh, tajin peddis, etc.

In order to pamper the visitors, Tresna Art opens free Salak Picking Tour Packages (seasonal), free tajhin sobih (Madura porridge) every Sunday, and also opens free batik training especially on Saturdays and Sundays. Tresna Art also offers welcome drinks in the form of Bangkalan specialty drinks (poka’), ginger coffee, and boiled bananas that can be enjoyed for free by visitors. And to get to know Madurese culture, visitors can also see the Madurese traditional house which is located behind the gallery.
